Gryllus (pronounced like a pack of hot dogs: ‘grill us’) is managed by the editors of Hobby Horse Press, and is open to a wide range of both literary and unliterary writing. We are looking for writing and digital art which will cause our readers to smile or think (or preferably both). We’ll take anything that makes the rusty gears in the back of the brain start to sparkle…

Friends oF Gryllus
Cole Stapleton is an artist living in Astoria, Queens. Their work centers on performance, choreography, and writing.

Glynnis Eldridge is a writer, poet, artist, editor, and researcher based in New York. She’s also a grad student at the City University of New York where she studies k-12 libraries.
Glynnis’ contributions include a ‘short story’ featured in Gryllus as well as editing The Contrarian for Hobby Horse Press. You can find more of Glynnis’ work via her website.
Pippin Lapish is a writer from Michigan. Her work has previously appeared in Denver Quarterly, Gryllus, 11½ Journal, and Narrative Magazine.

Joohee Park is a filmmaker and interdisciplinary artist based in Brooklyn, NY.

The People’s Coalition of Tandy is a label/art project/web coalition that puts out experimental music and art releases.
